Don’t Be Better – Be Remarkable

It’s not enough for the church to be ‘different’ from others. It’s not enough for our lives as Believers to be marginally better than the lives of non-Believers.

Jesus didn’t come to make us a little better. His plan for you isn’t for self-help, self-improvement, to create your best life now or to release You 2.0. He came to remake you from the inside out, to replace your old, sinful desires with a remarkable, holy life.

It’s not improvement.
It’s transformation.

That’s the message of our church. We believe Jesus Christ is the hope of the world and the church is His plan for sharing that hope with the world.

It’s not enough for us to be different. We are called and empowered, by his Spirit, to be remarkable.

Your non believers are not aware of whose spirit they are empowered with therefore believing it is there own & thinking this is what makes them think they are almighty & then they need no reason to bring in Jesus’ls spirit when all along it is him who resides in them.. Quite simple to allow his great spirit to manifest within you. Yet yet some (non bbelievers) can’t even grasp the concept. Its as if it wereto simple of a feat for us to achieve from whom we call our Lord. People think if its not hard its not real. I thank our father for simplicity.

    Hey Patricia,

Great comment. Thanks for the insight. You’re correct. Too often we use complexity as a smoke screen. Most things aren’t complicated. They’re just hard. This one happens to be neither. It all starts with belief.
